Hello there.
I'm brand new to Confluence so please be gentle!!
I'm using an on premise install of Atlassian Confluence 5.8.10
I'm trying to get notified of any changes that happen inside a space.
I'm watching all content in the space, and the pop up box states I will receive email notifications of any changes.
In my email settings page I have ticked every option available to me.
I haven't received any emails in the last week, and there's been a hell of alot of changes.
I'm guessing I need to contact the local administrator to see if he's enabled email notifications?
Could someone confirm that I've done all I can from my end?
Thanks
Matt
Sound like it is something wrong on server side. Or notifications have marked as "junk", so check your spam folder also :)
Thanks Gregor.
You are quite correct, I received an email from the server team that there is currently an issue sending mail from our on premises hosted confluence servers.
Something to do with a firewall rule they think, which sounds suspiciously like bullshit to me :-)
Thanks for replying.
