Can Rovo Access and Search Contents of Files Attached to Confluence Pages?

Hello,

I would like to know if Atlassian Rovo can access and search the contents of files (such as PDFs, Word documents, Excel files, etc.) that are attached to Confluence pages.

For example, if a PDF is attached to a page, can Rovo extract and reference the text inside that file when answering questions?

I’ve tried asking Rovo several times, but it always responds that there are no files —even though I’ve confirmed that files are attached to the page.

Hello @Chisato Saito ~ there is some good info here:  can rovo search attachment contents in confluence - Google Search  While it apparently CAN access and search contents of certain types of attachements, it doesn't look like PDF's are supported at this time.  However, there IS a "Summarize Attachment Expert" agent that you can use to extract a Summary that you can then search:  Get Started - AI for Confluence Cloud - Confluence
