Can we automate space creation using a form in a page?

We are trying to create a page that will automatically create a Team space where a user can just input their spacekey, spacename and administrator group .  IS this something that can be done using templates ?  or scripting?

The Confluence way is to create a space blueprint. This allows users to select a wizard (provided by this space blueprint) that guides them through the space creation process.

While there is the Create from Template Macro that allows to start a page blueprint wizard to create a new page, I do not know of such a macro to create a space based on a space blueprint. But this is only relevant if the standard way of selecting a space wizard does not meet your requirements -- that is: if you actually need to create a page to launch the wizard(s).
