Confluence Custom HTML based on user permissions

Hi, 

I have set up custom html to show different views based on user permissions and when I print messages, it is running the correct if-else loop however the required icons/buttons are not showing up. In particular, the create and edit page buttons so the user is unable to create new pages, do updates, etc.

Also when I print the params,

1. The param for my new user is showing up as 'remoteUserHasLicensedAccess: false'. What does this mean and how do I set this to 'true'?

2. My new user has been given space admin rights for the individual space (this is set by the last column in the particular space permissions, correct?) but the param is showing up as 'isSpaceAdmin: false'

Thanks for helping! Here's my file - I would like to use line 8 to limit based on space admin but it is not working. I would be grateful if you could advise on that too.
