Hi,
I'm curious to know if you're aware of any Jira/Confluence integration/macro that allows updates in a Confluence page when there are changes in a specified Jira ticket and vice versa. I'm not referring to a Confluence macro that simply opens Jira tickets from Confluence. Rather, I'm looking for an integration that enables a separate Confluence documentation page, linked to a specific Jira ticket, to automatically update the Jira ticket status when changes are made on the Confluence page.
Thanks in advance.
Hello @Mariam Seyranyan - X63194
If using a third-party app is an option for you, I suggest taking a look at our application Elements Publish.
With our app you can automatically create Confluence pages from Jira issues using recipes. It integrates with Automation and workflows with post-functions but it has many more features than the native solution. Indeed, you can :
And in your case, you can synchronize the Confluence page and the Jira issue together.
Don't hesitate to try our app, it's free during 30 days and stays free under 10 users.
Let me know if you have any question!

Hi @Clara Belin-Brosseau_Elements ,
Thank you for your response. Is this plugin available for Jira Datacenter?
Also, I have another question: Do you know if it's possible to have the mentioned functionality through Jira Script Runner?

Hello @Mariam Seyranyan - X63194
Elements Publish is available on Cloud, but you can also access the same features on Data Center with Elements Copy & Sync.
Have a great day!
