Confluence notifications are not shown properly

In confluence, we have a small icon which shows notifications,

1. Some time I am not getting notifications for which I have tagged
2. How many days of notifications will be shown here
3. Where is the settings options to control this notifications.

1. Does it have a specific pattern where you or your users is not receiving notification when being mentioned? I've found a bug report here that is somehow related to the notification not sent but it appears to only happen in the replies within inline comments:

2.  i got these from the workbox notification documentation

• Read notifications are automatically deleted after 2 weeks.
• Unread notifications are automatically deleted after 4 weeks.

3. Perhaps you can refer to Configuring Workbox Notification about the options you can control.

Anyway, may I know what is the Confluence version you are working with?
