Hello Community,
is there a way to create offers & bills in Confluence or does Atlassian have a product for creating those? We would like to do our accounting with Jira or another Atlassian product, but I can't find a suiting product.
Thanks for your help.
I think Jira can be configured for a CRM system. You need to create a custom issue type ("Invoice"), add custom fields ("Customer address", "VAT", etc.) and apply a workflow (Sent -> Paid -> Done, etc.). It is not built for that purpose, but with some configuration it can be used that way.
If you use Insight objects to model your customers, then it is even easier. (We actually do this for our consulting projects and it works pretty well. But, it is true, that we don't have to invoice 100 of those projects per month, so our scale is small.)
That could be a possibility, i have to check with the accounting team, if that would be an solution. Thank you for the answer.

Hi Magdalena,
Atlassian does not have a product that was made to create offers and bills.
Of course you can get creative by creating a new issue type in Jira and add the fields that you would need for those items. In Confluence you could create a page template with placeholders.
In Jira you could also use assets (CMDB) to do it in a more structured manner.
It depends on the amount of offers/ bills you are going to create but on the long run I would recommend a specialized solution.
