Hello!
We have a user whose name shows up in all capital letters. We have not been able to find a way to modify the user name within Atlassian (everything points to Google Administrator to update) and have been told that her name appears normal in all other systems.
I am not positive how this all works, but am looking for a little direction to take back to the main IT department to help resolve.
If there are any insights with specific actions that would need to be taken, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You,
Erin
Hi, Erin,
The user may go to id.atlassian.com, log in and edit the profile name.
If it's the case to change the name on Google, please ask the user to go to https://myaccount.google.com > log in > Personal info & Privacy > Your personal info > update the name with no capital letters.
Please let us know if it worked. :)
Hi Thais,
I actually was able to work with our central IT team to get our domain verified and then modify the user's full name via 'Manage Accounts'. However, I am now seeing that the a lot of previous activity from the user is showing up as 'Unknown User'. Do you know how I can resolve this?
Thanks, Erin

Correction:
What I think happened here is a result of my many attempts to get the name changed. At one point, I removed the user and then recreated her. I am thinking this is why I am now seeing the 'unknown user' everywhere. Is there any way to sync of the original and new user records?
Thanks, Erin
