Hello
we are using a group for our external users to grant the access to confluence in global permissions.
But as a consequence, this group can also be selected by space administrators within permission. Because of the nature of the members of the group, which come from a myriad of different partners, we don't want the space admins to use this group.
Is there any way to use a group within global permissions and hide it afterwards in space and page permissions?
(same question is also relevant for jira)
Greetings
Marcel
Hello @buddakeks
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!
Hiding any group in the confluence and jira is not possible directly.
Indirectly, if there is the AD-Group in the active directory then we can sync it with confluence and jira. In this way, the new user who will request to be added in the AD-Group then the owner of the group will approve. In this way, unauthorised user won't be the part. But still this group will be searchable in the application.

Thank you for the welcome :)
Your answer is somehow disappointing, I was quite sure that it's not a built-in feature, but I hoped, that it's possible by using custom scripts in Banner or Footer.
