How do I reply to a comment

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Comment on pages and blog posts

From the knowledgebase it seems that I should be able to reply to a comment posted by another member of my space or page, however I do not see any link or button for "reply" in their comment.  Stragely, when I receive an email notification with the comment they posted there is a "reply" button under the comment, but when clicked it takes me to the page with the comment and there is no reply box or reply button there and I can't reply. Appreciate some guidance, thanks.

You need to enable 'Threaded Comments' to get the reply options.

1. Choose the cog icon , then choose General Configuration under Confluence Administration
2. Select Further Configuration in the left-hand panel
3. Choose Edit
4. Select or unselect the Threaded Comments checkbox to enable or disable threaded mode
5. Choose Save

Anyone have a suggestion for this ?  I cannot seem to reply to comments in any of my spaces, but I am an administrator (the only administrator of all the spaces).

Hi Jordan,

It looks that you don't have permission to comment in the space. Space admins can grant you permission, just find out who are the administrators.
