We have a Knowledge Base written in Confluence that is associated with our Service desk.
When reading this knowledge base through Confluence, the links open in the same tab/window (as we want it to be)
However, if the same knowledge base is being read through the Service Desk, all links from the articles are being opened on a different tab.
How can I change it so they always open on the same tab too?

There are quite a few different Feature Requests for both Same Tab or New Tab when clicking on Confluence KB Articles, however based on the comments from one of our Developers (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-5942), the current intended behavior for Confluence KB links in Jira Service Desk to open the links in a New Tab.
If you have any feedback about this, I would ask that you include it on the Feature Request case as it can help to influence their decisions on what features to bring into the product.
