Thanks to all that are willing to read/help with this!
I am setting up our customer facing portal using Jira Service Desk Cloud and the Confluence space that is created at time of installation. We have an internal KB that has several pages that I'd like to expose externally in the Confluence space linked to Jira Service Desk Cloud. I have created a page and added the `Include Page` macro. When viewing that page from the Jira Service Desk Cloud portal (as an external user), I get the following:
"Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found."
When viewing as an internal user it works fine.
I understand why this is happening. The space that is linked to Jira Service Desk Cloud has the following extra permission:
"Any active user can view this space. Any active user can view pages in this space, including users who don't have a Confluence license. This was enabled through Jira Service Desk so people can view knowledge articles when raising a help request."
Is there any way around this? That is, can I take select internal pages and expose them in the Jira Service Desk Cloud linked Space via some other method? My goal is to have a single KB with some pages available externally via Jira Service Desk Cloud.
Hi, Antonio.
I'm afraid the only way was to turn the page public or give him access to Confluence. Due to the bug below making page public won't work:
Thanks for the reply and info on this question. I've decided to use Zendesk instead for our customer facing help portal and am using Knowledge Sync : Confluence to Zendesk successfully to keep my Confluence docs synchronized with the Zendesk HelpCenter/Guide.
