HI,
I have to automated Release Notes creation. Currently, for every release, we are manually adding all "enhancement" and "defect" ticket and updating release note with version.
As of now, I have release tickets created in JIRA and all "defect" and "enhancement" ticket is linked as a child on this ticket. I have also one mode "Published". Based on this flag I want the confluence to display Below information
ProductVersion RelaseDate Description HyperLink
By clicking on the hyperlink, it should open another page, and which should display all linked issue name, issue #, and description.
I found with JIRA Issue Macro you can plugin JQL and which display all issue, but in my case, I need to have control on formatting and on click I want to display certain information.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Hardik,
I am not on the Confluence or Jira Teams but I will try to help.
Firstly, the JQL Search should allow to select only those issue that you want to display.
You should be able to use the Display options on the Jira Issue Macro to control which columns are being displayed.
You can also display formatting using HTML: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/jira-issues-macro-724765217.html#JiraIssuesMacro-renderinghtmlfromjira
I hope that helps!

The macro gives us flexibility to select the specific columns to display.

The JIRA Issue Macro will not do what you are wanting to do. We had a similar issue and ended up breaking it up into multiple queries and displaying it on the confluence page that way. We did look at some plugins but they did not do what we needed. You can check those out as well - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?product=confluence&query=confluence%20display%20JIRA

Thanks for the informaiton. Did you try creating a custom macro? If yes because of some challenges you end up using the existing plugin?

We did not end up creating a custom macro. We ended up adjusting the way we used the current existing macro to meet our needs. It may not have as many bells and whistles as we want and require a little more scrolling but it delivers the information we needed.

I need to display the content of JIRA Story description in confluence without title "Description".
How to hide the title and only display the content?
