Hi there,
We are starting our journey to Cloud, and I want to know if there is any way to work on a hybrid mode for a while.
We have a Confluence that is more or less "stand alone", as we don't have so much integration, except with our Jira Software DC.
Whereas our Jira Software DC is used by a lot of application, and integrated with many processes. It will be harder to move.
I would like to know if it is feasible and a reasonable to have a Confluence Cloud, with an application link to our Jira DC on Premise.
We need to keep alive all the features we already have on Confluence such as Jira Issue creation, Release notes, etc...
Any advice on this topic ?
Thanks a lot.
Yes that is the way we run our server. We have a corporate cloud Confluence, and both a cloud and an on prem Jira (currently server moving to DC) they both connect to the same confluence through the application links no problem.
Create Issue from Confluence give a select list to choose the Jira you want the issue created in as we have it connected to both.
Thanks a lot Robert !
This is a very good news.
For now we have our Jira crowd set as primary User Directory for our Confluence.
How do you manage your users in such an hybrid configuration ?
