Is there a way to Create a JIRA Report page in confluence via API?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I would like to use the Confluence API to create a JIRA report (specifically a Change Log). I would pass in info like the page name and the JQL query and the other options available when manually creating such a report (in image below). Is this possible?
