Notification for update of confluence and jira

Hi,

I still can't figure out how to get an information that there is a new release für my confluence or my jira or the apps I have installed.

I want to have a message for admins when logging into confluence/jira or better having an email to my admin users.

Hi,

The functionality that you are  describing does not exist but here is a good workaround. 

I suggest that you follow https://atlassianreleasenotes.tumblr.com/ with a rss reader (good email software has this built in) for the atlassian tools.

For the apps you are able to watch them in the marketplace so that you are notified of updates.
