Hi There,
Within a confluence database, I have a field called "Service Expiry"
I want to setup an automation that will check the the database entries where the service expiry date is populated and then check if the service expiry date is less than 7 days away. If it is less than 7 days away, it should send an email to specified users containing specific information from that DB entry. Is something like this possible?
I have spent some time trying to figure this out, but I cant seem to get it right.
I cant seem to reference the specific DB.
Any advice?
@bradley You can't create automation that work on a "database field level" currently. The granularity is not supported by current automation rule components or the Confluence Cloud REST API.
As a workaround, you could create a separate page for each service, assign an expiry date to each page, but still use the database as a "directory" that lists the pages.
Hi Aron, thanks for the feedback! I will give this a try.
