I've made an automation in Confluence when manually triggered, it'll create an issue based on a page, in Jira. It works how I want it to.
The problem is in Jira. I have an automation where I want it to automatically create sub task based on the description field. But the trigger for when a issue is created doesn't work when I make the issue from confluence. (I have to create this automation in Jira because I can't make subtask from the automation components in Confluence)
It just doesn't register created pages from Confluence. Everything works when I set the trigger to manual.
This wouldn't be an issue if the for each: smart value component was added to confluence, or Jira registers created pages from confluence.
Hi @kennaheng
Is the following option in the rule details enabled?
"Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule. Only enable this if you need this rule to execute in response to another rule."
If not and you enable this is the rule triggered on the running the Confluence automation rule?
