I am trying to create Jira tasks from inside confluence. I understand that I can use /jira when editing the page, but there is also the "+ Create Issue" button that pops up when in viewing mode. However when I click on that button, nothing happens.
How do I fix this?
Just noticed that the create issue popup is appearing when clicking on the button from some but not all text.
Hi @Brendan Murphy ,
Are you able to create issues in Jira directly? Do you know which projects you have access to and whether or not you can create issues in those projects. If you have browse only permissions, this may be why nothing happens when you try to create an issue.
Do you have edit permissions on the pages where you are not seeing the option to create Jira issue after selecting the text? This could the reason you don't have the option on certain pages.

Hi Laura, I have administrative access to everything in our Jira and Confluence environments. This problem seems to have solved itself though, the button is now showing up.
