Hi,
i'm looking for a way to easily deactivate Users in Confluence without Deactivate them in the AD.
I can't remove the Users Groups that grant Access to Confluence because we use AGDLP and Confluence Permissions are nested inside Role Groups. And I can't Deactivate Users in the AD because people need to able to login to their clients and work.
So i just want a way to easily Remove users from Confluence without to fiddle with the AD or LDAP configuration. Just a Simple "Deactivate User" in Confluence.
I though maybe i can do this by setting the "active" field to "F" in cwd_user in the SQL DB?
Or if i set up a global group that specifically denies the "can use" tag?
Hi,
how about creating a new property in LDAP/AD. Then adjust user filter on Confluence, based on that one?
Hi,
thanks for your reply. You mean to build up a new AD structure in parallel and migrate the users?
