Scenario:
Multiple clients each with its own space.
Clients cannot see each other's space.
Clients will NOT get a Confluence License.
Clients will ONLY see their space and no one else's from my Jira domain.
I understand anonymous access and individual space permissions. The issue is that the scenario I described can be fulfilled if I add a license for each client into the mix.
Please advise.
You can do 3 of the 4. In order to do the other 3, you can't do: "Clients will NOT get a Confluence License."
For this scenario to work, each client user needs a license. That's how Confluence licensing works - you can setup spaces with anonymous access for free, but if you want to restrict access for specific users to specific users then they need a user license. It doesn't matter that they might be 'external' to your company and only accessing a single space with read access.

Thank you, this solves my question. If I wanted to proceed with licenses, then I will add them to a Group, and restrict each space to that Client's group. Thank you for the quick response!
