I am investigating the possibility of a knowledge based which will be accessed through Jira portal. However we have at the moment generic non client specific documents which feed from the knowledge base in confluence.
Going forward we would like it possible for clients to be able to view both the non specific articles and the articles which are specific to them (but other clients are not able to view)
all articles also need to feed into our jira project - Related knowledge base articles to help the helpdesk solve issues more efficiently.
Any guidance is greatly received
Welcome to the community 🙂
Even though the links are visible in Jira, clients will access the page only if they have permissions to view the page
So you need to mange the permissions in confluence using space permissions and page restrictions
Have the pages that needs to be open for all the clients in one place and restricted ones in another space
Let me know if you have any queries
Thanks,
Pramodh
Hi @Pramodh M
Are you able to provide some more details about how we can have multiple ''tenancies'' within our Knowledge Base so we can segment our knowledge-base for users based on their domain?
Thanks,
