Jira tasks are not displayed correctly for another Confluence user

Vladislav Markell March 29, 2021

Hi.

Me and my colleague test Jira (server, v.7.9.2) and Confluence (cloud) integration at the moment, so I added Jira tasks on the congluence page. They were added and displayed correctly (see the red square):

But, when my collegue tries to enter the same page, the tasks can't load correctly:

And then - "unexpected error":

Preconditions:

  • We use identical browsers (Chrome v.89.0.4389.90) and the same network with identical security settings.
  • We both stay logged in our Jira and in our new Confluence.
  • We both confirmed the Jira-Confluence connection in the browser when it was suggested automatically.
  • He has full admin rights in the Confluence as me (but I am the site creator).
  • When my colleague tries to add the Jira task on the Confluence page himself, he sees the same error.

How can I make my colleague see Jira tasks correctly?

We just moved all our spaces to another Confluence domain, and everything is OK with Jira links here. Seems the issue is not actual anymore, so this thread can be closed.

@Vladislav Markell

Can your colleague access the issues in the Jira project?  He will need access to the project in order to see the issues in Confluence.

Hi Brant,

Yes, he can.

Can you translate the specific error you are getting for me.

Vladislav Markell April 1, 2021

Hi Brant
It were something like
"Getting detailed data..." on the 2nd screen;
"Unable to retrieve data due to an unexpected error" on the 3rd screen.

But our company was moved to another Confluence domain and we still do not receive the bug here. So the issue is not actual anymore.

@Vladislav Markell - So the issue has been resolved?

Well... I can't say that it was truly resolved, but it is not actual.
