Hi at all,
after updating JIRA-Software from Version 7.9 to version 7.13.3 we have problems connecting to confluence (recently updated from 6.9 to 6.14.3).
None of the users is able to login. It seems that confluence lost the ability to connect to user administration in JIRA.
We have a LDAP synch and a local directory, that worked well bevor updating JIRA.
None of them work now. Neither with confluence 6.9 nor 6.14
Any ideas?
MANY THANKS
Hi @IT-Abteilung ,
you need to link Confluence to JIRA in User Directory.
Go to Admin -> User Management -> User Directories and verify that there is a link to JIRA or, otherwise, you need to create it
Here a guide to link confluence to jira about user management https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-jira-integration-in-the-setup-wizard-242255467.html
Hope this helps,
Fabio
Hi Fabio, many thanks for your fast answer. The directory was there but we had trouble with "application links". However, there were wrong ports. Now everything works fine.
