I accidentally deleted instead of taking away access from someone leaving the company. now i cannot access any of his work. is it possible to get this from his personal space by reaching out to Atlassian.
@Bibiana first of all, best practice is always to deactivate a user rather than delete them. Deactivating will also remove them from billing, but deleting will have greater consequences. If you want to know the difference between the two actions, you can reference this document:
Now that's out of the way, you should still be able to find the user's personal space even though you deleted the user. This is because the act of deleting a user will cause their personal space to be archived. You can retrieve it from the archive by following these steps:
Select Spaces in the Confluence top navigation.
Select View all spaces at the bottom of the dropdown to go to the Space Directory.
Select Archived in directory's navigation.
Find your space and click the "i" info icon to the right of the star.
Select Space settings.
Select Edit Space Details.
Change the Status field from “Archived” to “Current.”
Select Save.
These steps come from this document:

You will need to be an admin to perform this action.
I hope this helps!
