Hello. I am studying both Jira and Confluence. Which would we use to track issues in the documentation?

Hello @David McMurrey

Jira and Confluence can indeed work well together but can you tell us a bit more about what you are trying to achieve? How do you want to track issues in Confluence exactly?

I am trying to develop a course which introduces my students to Confluence.  But I also want them to have a bit of exposure to how bug-tracking works. As I recall, documentation were sort of tracked at IBM AIX. Didn't seem like it at Dell.

Maybe system-based bug tracking is impractical for documentation?

No, I did not hear whether organizations use Confluence orv Jira to track issues in documentation. Is it just a wonky question? :o)
