Hello,
I'm trying to create a template that would list jira issues on the confluence page based on the entered variable
I've found the following macro that is supposed to work:
I've created a macro and template based off it and when I create or edit the page everything seems to work. I can see a list of issues in the preview and everything appears to be fine.
However when I save the page I get the following error instead of the list of issues:
"Unable to locate Jira server for this macro. It may be due to Application Link configuration."
Any ideas as to what may be causing this?
Thanks
Confluence version: 6.6.6
JIRA version: 7.9.2
Hi Roman,
I assume Jira and Confluence are connected with Application Links, right? With which method?
Can you share an exception statement from the log when you reproduce the issue?
Roman.
Yes, applications (confluence and jira) are connected using app link and it works both ways - I can use standard jira macros for example.
The only error I see in the logs are following:

There is nothing in the stacktrace that would point to a certain issue.
I have found a similar Community question, and looks like they haven’t found a solution: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/User-macro-to-display-single-Jira-issue-not-working-as-expected/qaq-p/856351.
Perhaps you could ask Atlassian to clarify if this would only work with built-in macros.
Roman.
