Hi everyone!
When my sites and articles are shown as part of the knowledge base will the view also be count?
We were thinking about this when we had discussions about archiving and so on and none of the colleagues were sure about it.
Hope you can give me an answer! Thanks in advance 🙂
In past I used for it Viewtracker app (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/28637/viewtracker-analytics-for-confluence?hosting=server&tab=overview) and it was enough for me.
From Confluence Server/DC 7.14 this should be out of the box - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/viewing-site-statistics-123043962.html
Regards,
Seba
thanks for your answer - as we are using DC LTS 7.13.2 I'm still not sure if opening the articles in knowledge base is counting in view as it is not mentioned in your linked view statistics.
Do you have a something where it is mentioned directly like: View statistics show views opened by knowledge base (or something similar)
😄

Based on this community topic you can count it in Viewtracker.
Site/page usage from customer portal you can check in JSM reports:

Hope that will helps you :)

Thank you @Sebastian Krzewiński
@Fabienne Gerhardhe version shown in the Viewtracker video is the one in the cloud. Unfortunately, the calls via JSM cannot currently be shown there.
But with the Server / DC version, views on JSM Knowledgebase Articles are shown. You can also filter by the so-called source (Desktop, Mobile, JSM, etc). More information and screenshots can be found here https://bitvoodoo-apps.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BVVIEWTRACKER/overview
