What does the Filter look like to show JIRA tasks on Confluence Home Page

I am inserting a JIRA Issue/Filter macro on my Confluence Home Page. I want to show all tasks assigned to me that are not completed, done or resolved.

What might the filter look like to do that?

Thank you.

Hi Doug,

Please try:

assignee = currentUser() AND resolution = Unresolved

This blog post has some more advanced JQL tips: JQL: the most flexible way to search Jira

Looking forward to hearing how the query works for you.

Thanks,

Ann

Thank you Ann but the Insert button is grayed-out and cannot be clicked.

That happened on mine too, but then when I hit the magnifying glass icon, the preview populated. Please try that.

One more quick follow-on question for you @AnnWorley

Can I remove the 2 empty blocks and can I move the layout divider to split the screen/page?

And is there anyway to remove certain columns from the JIRA issues list like you can with the Confluence action items?

Absolutely you can. For details, please see Page Layouts, Columns and Sections:

  1. Choose the Page Layout button in the toolbar
  2. The Page Layout toolbar appears.

To remove columns, edit the macro and choose Display Options, then you can add and delete columns: Screen Shot 2018-01-26 at 2.51.46 PM.png

Strange but I do not get the Page Layout toolbar to appear. How do I turn that on @AnnWorley ?

Hi Doug,

The demonstration space that came with my Confluence test instance has this page with screen shots on how to do a page layout - please let me know if this helps:

Brilliant and awesome @AnnWorley -- way to subtle and discrete for my finding :)
