We have JIRA and Confluence running on our own CentOS server.
We are ready to make our first upgrade. What do we download?
And,
Thank you.
Probably server. If you have only one server, then definitely server.
For Jira, check if you are running Jira Core, Software and/or Service Desk. If you have Software, use that one (even if you also have Service Desk)
Linux 64 bit will give you an installer, which is a better option for upgrades.
Finally, check your versions first - you may need to step through some (e.g. do not go from Jira 6.4 to anything higher than 7.0)
Ok, thanks @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-. We are running JIRA/Confluence standalone on 1 server. I figured Server / Linux 64 bit was the one, but just wanted to confirm as I step through my first upgrade and document my process.
BTW, are you saying not to go straight to 6.7.1? I posted the other day about that exact path and was told I could go straight to 6.7.1 --> https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-best-to-approach-upgrading-Confluence/qaq-p/726200
Your thoughts on the upgrade path?

You haven't said where you are starting from, so I don't know.
But for Confluence, any version of 6 can go straight to 6.7. If it's 5.something, I'd recommend going to 5.13, then 6.0 then 6.7, but I'd actually try a 5.high (5.10+) straight to 6.7 - it can work fine.

Right, I thought you might have looked at my link...we are on 6.3.1 for Confluence @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-
