One on my users reported today exactly the same issue with the same error code. Yesterday Confluence worked for them and today does not and the same behaviour is reported.

I have created an Atlassian support ticked and was informed that this was fixed in backend.
"Atlassian has turned off a feature from backend which used to look for a function not available on the older version of Safari.
Root cause: This was caused by a mediaQuery method missing in older versions of Safari."
