Problem I’ve seen is with one Add-on. Linking. Is there anyway to tell if it is used? If not, perhaps we can uninstall it.
Could you please help us?
We are in Production Deployment.
@Rajratan Dahanethe only impact is that add-will top working in all pages that you use the plugin. you will get a box with message Unknown macro : link page if you have used the link page macro (broken link),and then you will need to remove this mess in all pages.
i suggest you try to get compatible version from vendor before removing plugin. so that you don't have to remove all broken link in all pages :/
Best!
It depends atlassian built in free plugins will still work, depending on the Confluence
version you have, but when you expand this arrow on this image you will see whether or not is free or licensed in case of license expired plugin it shouldn't work you should get error message of expiry when you try to use plugin,
If you have a Third vendor free plugin for instance( if the vendor does not have a compatible version with your confluence instance you should contact the vendor for the plugin version that will be compatible with your
if you have a non - free plugin(licensed) and it is not compatible, in your confluence instance ie. plugin configuration should not even be visible in Genenaral configuration of your confluence (hint Go to General configuration as admin find Linking for Confluence)
see what linking does and how you can verify it whether it works in confluence
1. Go to a page confluence
2. Edit the page, click the + button and choose other macros
3. Search with the the word link, you will see macros like link location, link page, choose link page for example add all required field and save it you don't get error it means great!
4. if you get error it means license expired most likely if you don't get any macros related to this plug in, it means that you need to contact vendor to give you compatible version/info.
Best.

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your reply.
So if we uninstall linking add-on, is there any impact on confluence application?
Thanks
Raj

Anywhere that you have used the add-on will stop working. You'll get a small grey box noting the break in the content if you've used any of its macros, but everything else will work fine.
