Is there any way to get filters in Confluence to NOT add the word 'issues' to every number it displays?
We have pages that are filtering Risks, Issues and Assumptions (all issue types in JIRA) and all the numbers have the word 'issues' after them which is causing no end of confusion for our users who insist they aren't issues, they are risks (or assumptions).
I'm not aware of any configuration option that would suppress this but would love to be proved wrong.
Here's an excerpt from one of our risk report confluence pages:
The users don't like the word 'issue' appearing after each number as they are not issues but risks. If you see what I mean.

Yeah...that's annoying. What version of confluence are you using and which macro?

We are still on 6.1.0 (hopefully upgrading in the next few months) and it's the standard JIRA/Issue Filter macro set to display just the number of issues.
We get a similar problem with the Two Dimensional Filter too where the sum columns have the word issues.

Hi,
Did you find any solution? I have the same problem.
This looks silly:

We haven't managed to upgrade yet so, no, no solution for us yet.

I have not found any solutions or open tickets related to this macro for Confluence.
Here is a link to the issue list. The JQL for this list includes "JIRA Macros" it is not specified down to exactly the Jira/Issue Filter Macro.
If you have any other questions I will try to help where I can.

I've got the same issue. I have bigger table where every cell is one Jira filter and I want to use the table for further report but the text "issue" (depending on language) is kind of in the way.
Is there way to received just count of results from Jira filter?

You will use Jira Issue/Filter and in the Display options select the Total Issue Count button. See below images.

Hi Brittany,
this is actually what I am using right now but as you can see in E.g. "12 issues" and in Andy's picture of his table too, there is always word "issue/issues" added to the count which doesnt allowed me use another macro on the table (for example chart to graphicly represent data from those Jira filters.

Hi Roman,
Sorry! I think this might be something for Atlassian themselves. I have tried many things with no success. Below is a link for Atlassian Confluence Support.
