This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Share a Page or Blog Post
Often users share a page to people who has no permission to see the page or even the space holding this page.
It would be great if Confluence would warn the user for that, before sending the notification!
In my company, when it occurs, users ask to the helpdesk why they can't access to the page, or why the "share" function is broken. It's becoming very boring to explain the same thing : "Sharing does not grant access, it's not like google+, etc..."
Since most of our spaces are restricted, this happens very-very-very often!...
Is there any incoming feature, plugin or workaround?
(PS: Same issue with JIRA)
Sound like a security issue - leaking someone's permissions.
