I configured a field of type User Picker (single user) and added it to the screen for status transitions. However, users with regular permissions see this field locked and cannot search or select users when transitioning states.
Administrators, on the other hand, can use this field normally. Additionally, this field can be selected normally when submitting issues. Why is this happening, and how can I adjust it?
Start by checking your global permission settings for:
Browse users and groups |
View and select users or groups from the user picker. Users with this permission can see the names of all users and groups on your site, provided they have the Browse Project permission granted to them. They can @mention people on work items too. |
