Unable to edit confluence page with embedded query (JQL)

Hi,

A confluence page that I created and maintaining (have required permission to edit), have few tables with embedded queries (JQL). Now I am not able to edit the page, getting a spinning wheel when clicked on edit icon (i have been trying for last few days). I faced similar issue on another page, I had to abandon that page as unable to edit. Can some one suggest what could be happening here and any solution?

It can be related to the Collaborative Editing in case you are using Confluence 6.X. Sometimes, the editor slows down due to the web requests. You can change the Collab. Editing mode to 'limited' in order to narrow down if that's the root cause.

This option seems to be too risky and afraid of loosing edits (drafts) done by others. Any other option? I already abandoned one page due to the same issue and it is happening again on a different page.
