Recently, our confluence server (no cloud version) keep have problem on Collaborative editing. The error prompt is

We can fix it by Restart Synchrony or enter safe mode. However we like to dig into the cause.
However, by checking atlassian-synchrony.log, I have no idea how to start. The log have no time stamp....
Ok .I believe your websocket connection is failing.You can turn off collaborative editing.

Go to chrome browser right click-inspect-network ,edit any page ..
Filter by bayeux and check the status code for websocket.

We only have one server for Confluence. It is a windows server with SQL server installed. I think websocket connection is fine because most of the time it is working normally. When user report error, we restart synchrony will fix the error. We never need to change firewall or windows services.

I don't have a chance to try.
But when the error occur, all users get the same error and all not able to edit page or add page. Same error with IE or chrome and with different PC. So I believe it is server side issue.

Do you have any error in browse console or network tab while editing the page?
