Which AUI components to display number comments?

For every wiki page, in order to display the number of comments in a "fancy" way, I've done this tiny red icon via CSS:

However, does it exist a better solution? Maybe thanks to the AUI?

I most often see the Badge used. I usually see them colored #cccccc with #333333 text, or #205081 with white text.
