Why isn't Confluence is not on the deafult applications list?

Kristen Davis March 8, 2018

We are using Confluence and Jira and I am trying to set default application access for new users to include both. When I try to do that I only see JIRA Software on the list of available options. How can I fix this?Capture.PNG

You are working in Jira there and only seeing the defaults for that application.  Confluence is not a Jira application, it's a separate service.  To fix this, you need to go set the defaults in Confluence separately, even if all your users are maintained in Jira.

(Yes, this is annoying, I'd love to see everything moved to (embedded) Crowd so that I know I can just set up a site with X applications and then maintain all the users in one place, but I don't think Atlassian have got that far yet with Crowd or Identity manager)
