confluence licens for service desk

Just need a clarification on the confluence licenses needed for jira service desk. Is it a regular confluence license, so that if I assign it to the service desk agent, the agent can work with all of confluence or is restricted so that he can only post in the knowledge base for the service desk project he's part of?

Hey Andreas, yes it's a regular license, he has full access to Confluence if he's counted in Confluence license and not only to space linked to his project where he's assigned to as an agent.

Make sure to add him in confluence-users.

Cheers,

Nadim

Hi Andreas,

All details on how the Knowledge Base integration works and who needs a license to be able to do what can be found on: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskserver034/serving-customers-with-a-knowledge-base-875313984.html#Servingcustomerswithaknowledgebase-settingsKnowledgebasesettings

Hope this helps.

Best,

Maarten
