how can i activate HTTPS on Confluence

Confluence is working over Http , and i need to link it to JIRA which is working over https 

so i have to avtivate Https on Confluence ; how can i do it

There are couple to ways to this,

1. If you not using any reverse proxy server with your Confluence

   2. This post is extremely well written.
2. If you are using reverse proxy (I like this better because, I can run several virtual host and don't have to expose Confluence server directly to the internet)
   1. Add HTTPs to reverse proxy (it depend on what you are using like Nginx or Apache httpd)
   2. Make changes to 'proxyPort' and 'scheme' in server.xml config file and you are good to go.
