I want to create an automation that publishes a page at specific times. I use the "Publish new page" automation action, but unfortunately it seems not all templates are showing up. I see a lot of them, the list also contains custom ones we created, but for some reason certain ones (and exactly the one I want to use) are not visible.
Can someone help me find out what is going on here?
I'm able to create pages based on this template as usual. Others are able to do the same thing...but the automation seems to not be able to access it somehow.
Any hints?
Thanks!
Hello everyone,
As I was running through the same problem I am adding here a workaround that it was not mentioned but probably you know it.
You can create the hidden template as a global custom template and this will show it up in the list of templates in the Jira automation action.
I have the same problem.
Here is a possible ugly workaround which I've devised, and that I need to verify. Note that if step 2 yields 0 results, you cannot use this workaround.
After I verify that this workaround works, I would need to check if I can rename the "unused" template and give the name of the "hidden" template (with a slight change, as Confluence does not allow multiple templates with same name).
I will report the results here.
