I am using JIRA 5.2.11/Fisheye 3.0.3 with the inbuilt version of the Fisheye Plugin.
I can:
1. Create Jobs from JIRA Issues
2. Link Custom Fields to Perforce Jobs
How can I link non custom fields (e.g. assignee, Priority etc.)
I have fields in my P4 jobspec ready to receive the data from JIRA/FishEye
I have a screen which allows me to map custom fields to these P4 fields
Am I missing a trick here?
Julian
Answered my own Question Doh!!!
I just need to make sure that the p4 jobspec is configured correctly it seems to prefer a type of "Line" to "Word"
Hi Julian, I am trying to integrate JIRA Issue and Perforce Task. I filled in all necessary fields, found that couldn't connect to perforce Server. I am getting an error, can anyone please help
Problem connecting to Perforce:
com.perforce.api.CommitException java.io.IOException: error: Error in job specification.error: Error detected at line 8.error: Syntax error in 'jobs'.
Thanks in Advance

Yes I didn't use FishEye. I implemented through P4DTG. Let me know, if you need any help or information regarding. You can also pm, if you want.

How exactly were you able to get this working?

Atlassian ave confirmed that the non-custome fields passed to Perforce are "Hard-Coded" so you can't do anything
