We’re excited to announce that we've improved the drag-and-drop functionality for Jira Work Items and that it will soon be available to all users!

What’s New?

You can now easily attach files to your Jira issues by dragging and dropping them directly into specific areas of the Work Item, such as comments, descriptions, or the attachments section. No more hunting for the attachment button—just drag your files and drop them where you need them!

How is it with the screen during a transition? Is it there also possible with drag and drop?

How do I know if I have the new and improved functionality? I can drag a file from file explorer to the issue and into the description if I open it first. Also, will the whole site get the new version at once or just the admins first?
