Hi everyone,
I'm looking to set up an automation in JIRA that automatically populates certain fields whenever a JIRA delivery ticket is created from a JDP idea.
Could anyone provide guidance or share their experiences on how to achieve this?

Without knowing more details about your scenario, some general guidance would be:
Pause to define the problem you are trying to solve. Ideally, explain that to another person to help confirm your understanding of it.

When you create a rule which will access / update issues in multiple projects, it must have a scope of multiple-project or global. Your Jira Site Admin will need to help make those changes in the global automation settings.
When you want to update most fields in JPD, the rule actor needs to have JPD Creator permissions. Watch for that impact when testing your rules.
