Hi, everyone!
I want to create an automation for Product Discovery that sends daily emails with a list of issues in the statuses "Waiting for Prioritization", "Prioritized", "Cancelled", "Discarded", "Pilot/Rollout", "Results Collection", and "Completed".
Obviously, for each status, I will have a different message.
Hello, @Emerson ! I hope you are doing well!
Maybe filter subscriptions would work for your. Subscribing to a filter sends you periodic notifications for all issues matching the search criteria. You can create a subscription of any frequency for yourself and/or other users. Note, only the first 200 results of a filter are sent.
Firstly, you have to create a filter with a search criteria (getting all the issues types and projects you would like to receive notification from), and save it. Once the filter is created, you click on "filter details" > "add subscription". Here is screenshot of the settings you can have in your subscription:
And here is an Atlassian document showing you how o create a filter and add subscriptions. [link]
I really liked this! You can't send a personalized message or shoot it over to Teams or Slack (I’ll need to figure that part out), but it gets the job done.
Thanks a lot!

Hi @Emerson
Have you already created a rule to send the messages?
If so, and it is not working as expected, please post the following for context so the community can help:
If you have not started a rule yet, who is the audience for the emails?
When all of the people are Jira users, you could instead create saved filters and allow people to create subscriptions to receive notification emails on their own cadence.
When some of the people are not Jira users, or there is some specific email content, you could create one or more rules, perhaps based upon the example in this knowledgebase article:
Kind regards,
Bill

Hi @Bill Sheboy
I gave a few things a shot, but in the end, Izabela showed me an easier way to do what I needed. I really appreciate your help, though!
