Automated Comment on Project Target change

We opted to have the Project Target field automatically updated by the linked delivery ticket, but upon changes, there is no mention in history. 

Is there a way to automate a comment upon date changes in linked ticket?

Yes, you can use "Automation for Jira"

Trigger: When field value is changed for a Project Target field.

Branch: for Linked Issues "Add the link you are looking for"

      Action: within the Branch add action: Add comment: Project Target field is: {{triggerIssue.customfield_ABCD}}

ABCD is your custom field ID

I tried but the automation never intercepts the autofill of the dates

Hey @Matteo Pacenti ,

As I understand these dates are getting edited by Automation for Jira only, based on the linked ticket, the rule that you created, please make sure under Rule details you check.
