Access Service Desk via API without a Authorization header Atlassian Investigating

Devlin Kleber August 27, 2020

Since Jira can't run with more than 1 URL, we are transitioning the URL to a externally accessible domain name. We have a 301 redirect for ports 80 and 443 but that still strips the Authorization Heard that isn't allowing our Devs' API calls through. They get various errors.

We were able to negate some of these by Allowing  the Anyone Group to (Browse, Create, and Edit, Modify Reporter) but JIRA Service say's doesn't support it. Any advice would helpful.

Hi Devlin,
Be careful, granting anonymous access to projects is risky. You can grant the Browse Projects permission to the Anyone group for all projects that require anonymous access. Cheers!

I've done that, it works for GET but not POST. Thank you for your response.
