Adding a custom database field

I was under the impression this was supported by Jira, however I am not finding this as an option when setting up projects and forms.  I also see no reference to it in the documentation.

Hello,

You would need a plugin to use a field, which would take data from a database table.

For example, you could use the Power Database Fields Pro add-on:
