Hi,
Step performed until now...
1) Created a Request type
2) Created a new workflow
3) I want certain Request / Issue type to be following certain workflow
Problem - I'm not able to assign a issue type to workflow

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response @Jack Brickey ..... Yes - first timer with JIRA :)
I'm using Net Gen - Cloud trail version
I have created a Issue type "Trace", then I created a workflow for "Trace WF" to link the issue type with this workflow.
Later I created a new Request type "Support" and add a dropdown to select the issue type while raising the ticket.
But even after all this the newly created request (Ticket) doesn't fall under TraceWF workflow... Instead it selects a default workflow.
Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi @Swat Singh , welcome to the Community. First to be clear workflows are not associated with Request types but rather Issuetypes. Request types are associated to an issuetype therein inheriting the workflow.
with that said, it may be that your project is Next-gen in which case workflows, in the classic sense, do not apply. Can you check on this, by looking at the left sidebar bottom when on the project view? If not NG, can you provide more info on where you have progressed to and are stuck?
